Job Title: UI/UX DeveloperLocation: McLean, VADuration: 6 months contractClient: Direct ClientRate: $40/hr on W2Roles and Responsibilities:
Minimum Qualifications:
The candidate needs to have at least a Bachelor's degree and 9 years of related IT work experience.Must be able to obtain a USPS Sensitive Clearance.7+ years of experience working in web application development.Extensive knowledge of HTML, CSS, including CSS driven layout and debugging for rapid development; experience with development and test tools such as Firebug.The candidate would need some familiarity with Oracle and PL/SQL, and object-oriented concepts.Strong written and verbal communication skills.Experience with Agile methodology and working within Agile development teams.Strong understanding of web standards, accessibility (Section 508), and usability.Good team working skills and meticulous attention to detail is a must.Preferred Qualifications:
Understanding of HTML5 concepts like the use of a local data store.Capability to work with customers to shape and implement a strong User Experience.Experience with hybrid mobile development (Cordova/PhoneGap) is a plus.Experience with iOS mobile development with XCode/Swift is a plus.
