The Coordinator, Marketing, Sales and Fan Experience will work as a member of the Intercollegiate Athletics Marketing Sales & Fan Experience staff and serve under the direction of the Associate Athletic Director of Marketing, Sales & Fan Experience. This individual’s main responsibility will be to develop and implement marketing plans, game operations, promotional plans, ticket sales, and sponsor activation for Men’s and Women’s basketball with the key focus on maximizing revenue, increasing fan attendance, and enhancing the overall game day experience. Additionally, this individual will have the lead role in overseeing student engagement, serving as the liaison with student organizations and leaders as it pertains to increasing awareness and attendance. Furthermore, this role will assist the marketing team with football, volleyball, soccer, baseball, softball, and all other varsity sports in developing and implementing marketing and promotion plans to increase attendance, revenue, and fan experience.Education/Experience Requirements:

Bachelor’s degree in marketing with 3 years of relevant experience or Master’s degree with 1 year of relevant experience.Proficient in Microsoft Office.Working knowledge in Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign.Experience in different platforms of social media.Ability to gain and maintain working knowledge of NCAA, MAC, and NCAA rules and regulations.Communication and Other Skills:

Detail oriented for accuracy of data and information.Highly organized and able to handle multiple projects and deadlines.Strong initiative to solve problems.Excellent customer service.Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills with colleagues, fans, student-athletes, coaches, and administrators.Communicate and interact effectively, respectfully, and appropriately with diverse populations in the Department, the University, and the community.Willing to work in a team atmosphere where expectations are set and managed while giving staff flexibility to do their assigned tasks as both a leader and/or a follower.Must have a strong ability to lead project teams.
