As the Film & Video Intern for Hasana, Inc., you will have a variety of responsibilities throughout the semester. Our Marketing team is looking for bright and innovative interns to film and edit video segments.Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:Assist with filming and editing video segments.Plan and direct assigned studio and field-based video production.Arrange optimal lighting and camera setup for video shoots.Assist in scheduling tapings and guest appearances.Coordinate pre-production and production planning activities.Conduct field-based video production which involves interacting with clients and operating all portable video and audio equipment.Transport and set up lighting and audio equipment as required; provide limited troubleshooting and maintenance of field production equipment.Plan and perform video post-production tasks which include reviewing footage, making editorial decisions, tape logging, rough cuts, audio adjustment, color correction, and final editing.Utilize computer graphics and special effects for video post-production in accordance with the overall production concepts.Compress video projects for output; make video products available in a variety of formats; and coordinate internal and external duplication services as required.Qualifications

A passion for women’s economic opportunities.Must be a full or part-time student and working toward a degree.Must be eligible to receive school credit and commit to 2-3 days a week for 3 months.Comfortable with ambiguity and able to work autonomously.Flexible; ability to adapt to changing priorities and multiple tasks.Must have access to film production and editing equipment.Familiarity with video production equipment and software.Interest in filming and editing video segments.Comfort with post-production equipment, Final Cut Studio, Adobe Creative Suite, video editing software, Macintosh and PC operating systems.Knowledge of video production procedures, practices, techniques, and terminology; principles of analog and digital video capture.Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to work well with a variety of personalities.Ability to take initiative and must have the confidence to learn in a “live” environment.Must be reliable with excellent organizational skills and very strong attention to detail.Ability to work well with a team.Integrity, honesty, openness and a willingness to operate as a team player.Additional Information
