Proficient in roadway construction plans productionUnderstand the concepts of geometry designUnderstand the development of pay item quantities and calculationsUnderstand the process for development of a project cost estimateEffectively research projects and assist with marketing efforts from a roadway point-of-viewGain knowledge in all design standards, manuals, and criteriaRequires minimal technical supervision of tasks by senior staffComplete tasks and projects within expectations of Project Manager, Supervisor or Task LeadWhat You’ll Need

Vocational Training course completion or equivalent college level courses is preferred10-20 years of related experienceOther experience or training may be consideredWhat You’ll Bring

Expert in MicroStation or AutoCAD, including civil platforms (such as OpenRoads Designer, OpenBridge Modeler, Civil3D, etc.)Excellent verbal and written communications skillsExcellent attention to detail and organizational skillsMust be able to effectively prioritizeAbility to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards in all work effortsAbility to perform multiple tasks in an organized mannerAbility to work independently and as part of a team on deadline-driven activitiesProficient in Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, and other Office ProductsAbility to work across other disciplines (roadway, structures and drainage, landscape, etc.) to identify and reduce design conflictsWorking Conditions
