As the

Marketing & Communication Lead

at Strohm, you will be a key member of our commercial team, responsible for overseeing all marketing and communication activities. Your role will be pivotal in supporting our strategic transition into the renewable energy sector, focusing on Offshore, Hydrogen, and CCUS.As a disruptor, Strohm creates a huge impact in the conservative energy and renewable energy sectors, replacing incumbent technologies that have been used for decades. We encounter resistance related to lack of knowledge and comfort around new technologies, and it is your main goal to support and drive the global commercial team in creating the learning environment, key for our clients to embrace new technology. Especially in the energy transition, new technology is key and communication and learning is the way to create acceptance and acceleration.In this position, you will guide and support colleagues in both online and offline marketing communications, manage external specialists in areas such as website design, digital and printed media, public relations, and event management. You will also be tasked with creating compelling content for our social media channels, working closely with the entire Strohm team and our partners to surprise and inspire with your creativity and innovative ideas.You will serve as the M&C specialist within the commercial team and across the organization, owning and deploying the M&C strategy, guiding relevant personnel, and developing policies, media relations, and events. Additionally, you will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining the company's branding efforts, ensuring consistent and effective use of branding across all channels.Main ResponsibilitiesManage website and social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook) and LinkedIn advertising.Manage the online product design tool, including making available all supporting documentation.Develop and implement the digital TCP learning community, using learning and training as an effective tool of client awareness and engagement.Develop and implement Strohm’s external communication strategy in collaboration with the management team.Liaise with communication partners, such as PR agencies and website designers.Coordinate global conferences, exhibitions, technical, and networking events.Oversee CRM management.Develop webinar structures geared towards client directed and client-specific content.Develop and manage marketing and sales materials.Generate content such as articles, press releases, and website updates in alignment with company strategy and market goals.Act as the owner of the marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation and utilization of resources.Oversee and maintain the company's branding efforts, ensuring consistent and effective use of branding across all channels.Skills and ExperienceBachelor's degree or equivalent (Dutch HBO).3-5 years of experience in international sales and marketing (B2B) or relevant technical experience in the energy industry with an interest in transitioning to marketing and communication.Technical background or interest in the offshore energy industry.Experience in managing international B2B conferences and technical events.Strong visual and content creation skills.Familiarity with tools such as Canva, HubSpot, MailChimp; knowledge of Adobe Photoshop or InDesign is a plus.Good understanding of Google Analytics, SEO, SEA, and campaign performance tracking.Good understanding of webinar development.Preferred photography and video editing skills.What We OfferA 40-hour per week position within a dynamic, growing, and innovative company.A pleasant, open, and challenging work environment with enthusiastic colleagues.Competitive salary based on relevant knowledge and work experience.32 vacation days based on a full-time position.Hybrid working policy and flexible working options.Commuting allowance or NS Business Card (minimum 3 days in office).About the CompanyStrohm is a pioneering and innovative company specializing in the design and manufacture of high-end Thermoplastic Composite Pipe (TCP).
