Lakeland PBS is looking for a full-time creative multimedia producer/director to join our production team and work mainly on arts, culture, and history programming. In this role, you will have the unique opportunity to create compelling and informative content that celebrates our region's diversity, culture, and interests.Hands-on experience in both live and post-production, as well as shooting, editing, and computer and digital production skills for broadcast, social media, and web, is necessary. A degree in media or a related field or equivalent experience is required. Mac and PC skills along with Final Cut, Premiere, and Photoshop are necessary.Ability to walk, lift, climb, push, pull, and carry at least 40 pounds, along with a valid MN driver's license, is required. Excellent vision, hearing, and physical dexterity are needed for this position.Lakeland PBS has a long history of stability with an excellent board and staff. We have no debt and a solid cash position. We have a strong community presence with an emphasis on local service, including our own local nightly news, local arts, culture, and public affairs programming. We are also a multimedia technology leader and have a strong online and social media presence, broadcasting six digital channels throughout northern and central Minnesota.Work hours are mainly weekdays, with some evenings and weekends. Salary range: $32,000 to $42,000 annually.
