Perkins&Will is seeking a creative brand ambassador to amplify our storytelling through the positive power of social media. The Social Media Coordinator will curate, create, disseminate, and measure the impact of brand-strengthening content across our firmwide digital channels daily. This role can be located in New York, Boston, or Chicago.The ideal candidate is passionate about architecture and design, “lives and breathes” social media, and is forever curious about the latest tools, technologies, and trends. They enjoy experimenting with new and emerging platforms in creative ways, and totally nerd out on metrics and analytics—harnessing the power of data to improve overall performance. Naturally, they love brand communication and storytelling, too; they thrive on a mixture of creative copywriting and graphic design using Adobe Photoshop and InDesign.Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

Planning, curating, producing, publishing, and tracking engagement of daily content across Perkins&Will’s global social media channels (LinkedIn, Instagram, Facebook, Pinterest, and X).Establishing and maintaining a daily, weekly, and monthly social media content calendar that supports the firmwide communication strategy.Fielding frequent, sometimes daily, requests for social media content creation from key leaders around the firm.Drafting engaging social media copy and designing compelling on-brand graphics and templates using Adobe InDesign and Canva to support firmwide events, activities, and other communication campaigns.Producing a monthly firmwide internal newsletter and managing the firm’s microsite for internal news.Advising teams across the firm on social media strategy and assisting them with implementation when appropriate.Developing social media best practices and co-leading both live and recorded training sessions.Managing new and emerging social media tools and platforms, such as Instagram Threads, Canva, Hootsuite, and CapCut.Managing sponsored content campaigns.Benchmarking, tracking, and analyzing social media performance, including employee advocacy, to drive stronger engagement across key audiences.Critical skills include:

Ability to build robust and engaged social media communities.Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop, Illustrator, etc.).Video editing and graphics animation, both with and without audio.Very strong “people skills,” with the ability to work collaboratively across teams, departments, and disciplines.Ability to self-start and self-motivate—and the desire to hit the ground running!Qualifications:

Degree in marketing, communication, journalism, design, or a related field.1-3 years of professional social media experience in the A/E/C industry.Mastery of English grammar, syntax, and spelling.Familiarity with WordPress, Squarespace, Mailchimp, and OpenAsset is a plus.Experience working in social media advertising is preferred.To apply, please submit your resume, cover letter, and 3-5 examples of your best and most relevant social media content creations—along with a description of each.
