Job Description
Duration:
12+ months contract position on W2Support the introduction and marketing of new products in the
Chemical Synthesis
initiative of the
Lab and Special Chemicals
(LSC) business. The Chemical Synthesis portfolio is made up of organic
building blocks, chemical reagents
and catalysts, as well as chemical tools for biological applications such as cross-linkers for
bioconjugation.
Main Job Responsibilities:
Support the Product Management Team in the New
Product Introduction process
(including ideation, collaboration and sourcing).Explore trends in
chemical synthesis
(and customer need) to develop new focus areas for the group.Go-to-market activities for new product launches through print, web and training channels.Ensure worldwide inventory of new and strategic products.Collaborate with QC Team to ensure high quality of new products.
Critical Skills:Communication in a matrixed organization.Ability to quickly learn (with training) internal systems and databases.Qualifications
Basic Qualifications:- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry or related Life Sciences. Higher degrees encouraged.- Laboratory and/or life science marketing experience a plus.
