This position demands a blend of technical expertise and exceptional writing skills to ensure clarity, accuracy, and regulatory compliance. You will collaborate closely with engineers, designers, and regulatory specialists to develop user-friendly documentation that enhances patient safety and product usability. If you have a keen eye for detail, a passion for medical technology, and a knack for transforming complex information into clear, accessible content, we invite you to apply and contribute to our mission of advancing healthcare.ESSENTIAL DUTIESMaintains advanced knowledge of the businesses’ products and the therapies in which they are used.Partners with subject matter experts to develop content to achieve specific and immediate business objectives. Metrics will be used to determine effectiveness of content.Understands design control process and is able to complete required documentation for a project.Develops content with content management system and other tools, creates output mechanisms, and analyzes system workflow.Forecasts and meets project deadlines and budgets. Takes the initiative to report on project status and anticipates and alerts manager and internal customers of potential project difficulties.Assists in the maintenance of art, photo, electronic, and printed document files to meet departmental and regulatory requirements.Facilitates discussions and represents Technical Communication team.Clarifies and maintains departmental policies and procedures.Seeks on-going knowledge of industry, regulatory, linguistic, and publication standards and applies this knowledge to the completion of all projects.MINIMUM QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTSEducationBachelor’s degree or equivalent of education and experience sufficient to successfully perform the essential functions of the job may be considered.ExperienceMinimum 7 years experience.SkillsDemonstrated, professional level communication skills in writing/editing, graphic design, or project management.Effective leadership and team building skills.High-level working knowledge of Content Management Systems and workflow.Must be able to collaborate and translate business objectives into tangible course content for skill development at all levels.High-level knowledge of desktop publishing systems and competency in PC usage, especially Adobe products, XML, XSLT, and CCSs.-Or-An equivalent competency level acquired through a variation of these qualifications may be considered.LOCATIONLakewood, Colorado - Open to remote for the best candidate.PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTSTypical Office Environment requirements include: reading, speaking, hearing, close vision, walking, bending, sitting, and occasional lifting up to 20 pounds.The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an associate to successfully perform the essential duties of this job. $79,200.00 to $99,000.00 - Salary to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market dataTarget Bonus on Base:
