Our combined staff of more than 1,700 engineers and design professionals have expertise that spans all major engineering disciplines to serve the industrial, transportation, power, water/wastewater, mining, building, and oil, gas & chemical markets.Our rapidly growing Industrial Engineering team, which includes process, mechanical, electrical, controls, structural, architectural, geotechnical, and civil disciplines, is a multi-faceted and leading-edge division of Kiewit focused on EPC and design-build delivery of industrial projects.Location

This position is based out of our Lenexa Kansas Office.Responsibilities

Lead the building project team and interface with project management and other project discipline leads.Manage project performance (productivity, quality, schedule) and develop recovery plans as needed.Support project initiation and development in both the estimate and execution phases.Manage project staffing to support each project and develop the team.Drive communication within the project team and stakeholders regarding ongoing activities and project requirements.Collaborate with the estimating department and maintain relationships with EPC project stakeholders.Attend and run weekly project meetings.Provide accurate forecasting of project manpower needs.Define and own project schedules and document control metrics.Ensure understanding of project contract requirements and estimates.Qualifications

Bachelor’s/Master’s degree in Architecture, Structural Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or Architectural Engineering.Minimum of 5 years of relevant design experience and 3 years of relevant building project management experience.Professional Engineer (PE) or Registered Architect (RA) license preferred.Knowledge of multi-discipline industrial building design and experience in a leadership role.Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate with a team.Experience with EPC building execution preferred.Other Requirements:
