Product Designer

within Trisept Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for designing solutions that satisfy users and allow them to advance and achieve their goals. You will be the design lead in product development teams, collaborating with product and engineering to discover and deliver new solutions through the entire product development lifecycle. You will focus on designing experiences that leverage data and analytics capabilities to bring innovative, data-driven solutions to market, which enables improvements in customer experience and drive incremental revenue.

A successful Product Designer will:

Prepare roadmapping/long-term planning with PdM and business leaders.

Contribute to and leverage a design system and ensure that the user needs are reflected while maintaining consistency across all platforms.

Work to frame customer and business problems with key business stakeholders, product management and technology leadership.

Analyze analytics to help drive decision-making.

Discover great product solutions through design research, concept and experience validation.

Partner with Product Managers and Developers to oversee the user experience from concept through launch.

Create and test solutions in order to validate the value and user experience of the solution or features.

Contribute to strategic decision-making as part of the product team and in sync with the business stakeholders.

Provide and solicit feedback from other designers to continuously improve product quality and consistency.

Encourage and uphold high standards for our product experiences.

Mentor UX designers, UI developers, web designers/producers, graphic designers and content editors by leveraging years of industry expertise to effectively raise the technological bar of the company.

Provide leadership within the team by owning processes and improvement initiatives.

A successful Product Designer will have:

Bachelor's Degree in design, human-computer interaction (HCI).

Minimum of 3 years' experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

Deep understanding of design trends, principles and fundamentals.

Deep understanding of user-centered design methods and best practices.

Track record of successfully leading and managing multiple simultaneous projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong organizational skills.

Critical and creative thinking skills while maintaining close attention to detail.

Ability to facilitate client interactions.

Ability to conduct research techniques such as: usability testing, card sorting and contextual inquiry.

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, agile environment.

Experience in developing prototypes at varying levels of fidelity.

Expert-level proficiency with a variety of design tools including Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Sketch, Axure or equivalent software programs.

Knowledge of web technologies including HTML, CSS and other front end languages.

High aptitude for learning.

Portfolio demonstrating proven capabilities of UX Design.

Experience using assistive tools and automated technologies such as WAVE from WebAIM, aXe by Deque, JAWS, NVDA, and VoiceOver.

Experience using and following Section 508 and Web Accessibility Initiative (WAI) guidelines and specifications – W3C Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.0 and 2.1 A and AA), Accessible Rich Internet Applications (ARIA), User Agent Accessibility Guidelines (UAAG), and Authoring Tool Accessibility Guidelines (ATAG).
