As a Sr. Communications Specialist supporting our Federal government client, you will be trusted to develop and implement project deliverables, including webinars, office hours, graphics, FAQs, briefings, and factsheets. This role will entail supporting and elevating Federal grant-funded projects, developing and implementing program-specific and cross-cutting communications strategies, and leading the team with best practices in brand standards, quality assurance, and cohesion among multiple stakeholders.Key Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):

Lead the development of project deliverables, including SOPs, email communications, factsheets, FAQ documents, slide decks, office hours, and more, coordinating multiple rounds of content development and edits to capture the needs of multiple stakeholders.Manage one junior communications staff member, delegating knowledge capture, technical editing, and more as needed, with the aim to support their overall growth and success.Oversee internal and external official programmatic communications regarding upcoming events, deadlines, and relevant materials.Own the creation, execution, and follow up of internal- and external-facing events from goal setting to lessons learned, coordinating all intermediary steps with internal and external stakeholders.Facilitate Client-facing meetings, building trusting relationships with honesty, accountability, and innovation.Analyze the data from Baseline, Annual, and Semi-Annual performance reports to identify potential program success highlights and human interest stories.Develop the graphic design of training materials with an emphasis on adhering to brand and quality standards.Optimize systems, processes, and policies as needed to improve stakeholder engagement and team integration.Serve as the liaison between technical program expertise and public engagement efforts within intra-agency and inter-agency offices.Recommend options or solutions that meet the client’s needs and desired outcomes, sharing expertise to guide format and functionality.Carry out our Commitments to Deliver, Grow, and Thrive.Location:

Bachelor’s degreeMinimum of 7 years of consulting and/or directly relevant industry experienceKnowledge and experience with federal and/or state grants managementExperience developing and executing detailed communications strategiesStrong attention to detail and commitment to quality assuranceAbility to be flexible and maintain professionalism while balancing multiple projects, deadlines, and supervisor and/or client direction/feedbackReceptive to all forms of feedback from clients and colleagues, and proactive to make changesComfort working independently and in a remote team environment to proactively drive deliveryUS citizenship or permanent resident and the ability to pass public trust clearance or suitabilityPreferred Experience/Skills:
