GENERAL SUMMARYThe DeZURIK Parts Specialist plays a crucial role in service parts identification, pricing, and support for both customer representatives and DeZURIK personnel, both domestic and international. This role also supports the DeZURIK Engineering Department by creating standard product bills of materials.This position is currently eligible for DeZURIK's hybrid work schedule.PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS)

Quickly and accurately identify part requirements for orders and quotations by leveraging DeZURIK systems and gaining expertise in valve product lines.Provide accurate parts pricing for orders and quotations using spare parts guidelines, supplier contracts, internal technology, and DeZURIK personnel as needed.Create part numbers for orders utilizing the Oracle NetSuite ERP System, and structure bills of material and vendor specifications as required.Collaborate with Application Engineers, Special Order Engineers, Field Service teams, Representatives, and Customers to resolve issues by analyzing, investigating, and recommending effective solutions.Document and submit corrections for any parts pricing errors.All duties and responsibilities are subject to change due to the business needs of the company.EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

High School Diploma or equivalent and 2 years continued education.Experience with ERP programs and the ability to learn DeZURIK-specific software quickly.Oracle NetSuite ERP experience is preferred.KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Parts Identification Expertise: Proficient in identifying service parts and providing accurate information and pricing.Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with standard product bills of materials and engineering processes.Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills for effective interaction with customer representatives and internal personnel.Customer Service: Ability to support and address inquiries from both domestic and international customers and representatives.Collaboration: Experience working with cross-functional teams, including engineering, to resolve issues and support department needs.Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy in parts identification, pricing, and documentation.Technical Proficiency: Familiarity with ERP systems, such as Oracle NetSuite, is preferred.Problem-Solving: Strong analytical skills to effectively resolve parts-related issues and recommend solutions.PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Physical demands are typical of an office position including extended periods of sitting, extensive use of a personal computer and telephone.Position requires movement around the facilities.WORKING CONDITIONS

Normal manufacturing and office environment. When working occasionally in some shop areas, personal protection equipment (PPE) will be recommended and/or required (safety shoes, safety glasses w/side shields, hearing protection, face shield, gloves, apron and boots).
