The Opportunity:

CACI is seeking a creative, self-motivated, and collaborative 2D Animator. This opportunity could be an ideal fit if you possess a strong passion for creating and delivering cutting-edge educational PC Simulations products and solutions, encompassing virtual reality, and emerging technologies. Under general direction, the 2D Animator will take on a variety of tasks, both independently and in collaboration with Complex Media developers, Instructional System Designers, and Subject Matter Experts to create complex objects for the Sailor 2025 Ready Relevant Learning contract.

Responsibilities:

Responsible for collaborating with Complex Media Developers and Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to develop technically accurate PC Simulations media elements.

Responsible for designing, developing, and creating innovative 2D media elements for the developed training. Tasks will include creating 2D animations and complex objects.

Duties may include planning, designing, and preparation of 2D media elements, as well as strategy and conceptualization of new designs for the training team.

Assist in collecting and organizing information supporting manuals and training materials.

Review all training materials developed by the FCA Instructional System Designers (ISDs).

Qualifications:

Required:

BA/BS Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 3 years of related work experience.

Prior experience working with a training team developing complex media.

Expertise with Autodesk 3D Max and Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Substance Painter, Premiere, After Effects, Media Encoder).

Strong knowledge of concepts and tools including:

2D Animation - 2D modeling, sculpting, animation, texturing, lighting, rendering.

Motion Graphics - 2D/3D animated microlearning videos or assets. Building animated content from scratch.

Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Collaborate with a diverse team of professionals.

Desired:

Prior experience working on Sailor 2025 RRL projects.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and solid analytical and problem-solving skills.

Self-motivated and able to work independently as well as in team environments.

Basic knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite.

Pay Range:

There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, education, and certifications. The proposed salary range for this position is: $47,100-$96,500
