We have consistently delivered exceptional sales results representing our clients for over 30 years.About The Inside Sales Representative - TelecommunicationMarketStar is seeking an Inside Sales Representative (ISR) to support one of our newest telecommunications clients based in our Salt Lake City office. As an ISR, you’ll work at the intersection of people and technology, selling fiber-based broadband and mobility products to small business and mid-market customers. Your ability to drive sales and maintain a self-starter mindset will help you to make daily sales calls, build relationships to identify new sales opportunities.Location: Salt Lake City, UTWhat will you do?Use your “hunter” mindset to identify new sales opportunities through prospecting.Understand the communication and technology needs of small and mid-sized business customers. Use resources to design and propose customized solutions to meet their unique business needs.Utilize proven sales techniques to build customer relationships to enhance the customer buying and service experience for small business customers.Effectively utilize consultative selling skills to identify key trends, uncover customer needs and leverage industry knowledge and applications to find and close sales opportunities.Ensure delivery of the customer experience from sale to fulfillment to foster relationships and networks with customers.Understand and execute the full sales cycle with an assigned book of business which could include new and/or dormant customers.Understand and execute the lead management process to include lead generation, scheduled meetings, account optimization, follow up and hand offs through continued support.Daily tasks include outreach, introduction calls, presentations, and basic problem solving.Achieve monthly/quarterly assigned quotas by tracking progress and performance.Effectively communicate with customers and provide sales support to close deals.Participate in regular 1:1’s with manager to review business and performance results.Adopt and master company provided sales process to ensure consistent quota attainment.Prepare for engagement with customers through industry, company, and product research.Accurately maintain CRM data points to enable data driven strategic plans and to surface valuable customer insights.Exhibit professionalism through continued learning, organization, and ensuring a positive customer experience.Skills & QualificationsDemonstrates self-motivation and a drive to succeed in a competitive environment.Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets in previous sales or account management roles – Experience in B2B, Mobility, Telecommunication, or SaaS sales preferred.Efficient in sales funnel management; previous experience in CRM systems such as Salesforce or Outreach preferred.Tech savvy, computer literate, and familiar with programs such as Microsoft Office, Google Tools, and CRMs.Demonstrate verbal and written skills that effectively communicate with customers via phone, virtual, email, presentations and product demonstrations.Motivated to learn to handle high pressure situations, objections, and concerns when working with customers.Individual who consistently demonstrates confidence, ambition, adaptability, and resilience in tasks and engagements with others.Ability to execute proven processes and analyze data to make informed decisions, find creative solutions, and solve problems.Able to manage time in a structured and organized way to ensure deadlines are met and quotas are obtained.Demonstrated ability to build relationships and to work collaboratively with teams across the organization.Sales Degree / Sales Certifications are a bonus.Familiarity with reporting and sales analytics is preferred but not required.Previous experience in sales, technology, and/or account management preferred.MarketStar Benefits & Perks:BenefitsIn our commitment to our “We Care” value, we believe in providing employees with valuable mental and physical well-being benefits including:Paid Parental LeavePaid Childcare/Dependent CareEducation ReimbursementMental Health Benefit401(k) Match4.5 weeks PTO and 7 paid holidaysPersonal Loan ProgramAnd comprehensive health and welfare plans.This is a non-exempt position.MarketStar is firmly committed to Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) and to compliance with all federal, state, and local laws that prohibit employment discrimination.
