RF Engineer . This person will work closely with both government and contractors while they learn and understand the communications used to support the program. Candidate will gain domain expertise and provide advice to the government on products, system architecture, and engineering support to ensure successful development and implementation across multiple platforms. ONSITE in San Diego, CA.JOB DUTIES:Candidates must be able to coordinate with a team, and provide support as needed for briefs, demos and supporting testing across platforms in a lab environment.The candidate will have some background in system and hardware engineering, possess strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to learn new technologies quickly.Specific responsibilities of the candidate may include:VLF Waveform development.VLF Communication’s systems engineering and design.Support testing, configuration and documentation of hardware and networked systems.Participate in resolving technical issues and troubleshoot the system that may arise during integration, implementation and testing.Interface with management, customers and team regularly.Travel offsite for Technical Exchanges and Working Groups.Support the Management of task orders.Coordinate with multiple agencies, vendors, and customers.QualificationsREQUIREMENTS:Bachelor’s degree in computer science, mathematics, or a related major.Must have Secret Clearance.Must be a U.S. Citizen.Radio Frequency (RF) Engineering experience.DESIRED SKILLS:Preferred VLF experience.Excellent Communications Skills are imperative.Establish equipment configurations in support of operational requirements.
