DESCRIPTIONThe Senior Commerce Media Planner will lead the day-to-day planning for two (2) Major CPG clients and look to drive performance through RMN and third-party execution, while incorporating learnings garnered through measurement and analytics.This role is responsible for the media planning process, budget setting, industry tracking, test & learn agenda, etc. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to drive innovative media tactics that push the business forward. Participate in the establishment, tracking, and reporting of business and media KPIs. Manage external media and tech partners to ensure performance and cost efficiencies.The Sr. Commerce Media Planner is a leadership role on the media team providing inspiration, strategic direction, and innovative thinking to internal teammates and clients.The Sr. Commerce Media Planner will mentor his/her team throughout the process, helping to craft career paths and contribute to the development of all employees working under their direction.RESPONSIBILITIESLead the strategic media planning and serve as a resource for direct reports & junior staff for advice and counsel.

Think strategically about complex programs for assigned client relationships by providing thoughtful recommendations and action plans for campaigns that drive high ROI.

Must have experience working with WMC, Roundel, Kroger, ABSCO, and other retail media networks.

Have experience in retail enabled DSPs such as (Walmart DSP powered by The Trade Desk, Amazon DSP, Google DV360, etc.).

Media Leader who contributes to media strategy, builds solid relationships with clients across all levels and functions, and can manage, lead, and develop their team that reports into them.

Presents to clients and internal teams, with the ability to effectively communicate overall plan strategy, including tactics across all media types.

Define, manage, and improve success metrics across all digital media channels, and at the group, team, and individual levels.

Coach, develop and lead the Media Planners within their internal roster, providing mentorship, feedback, and direction.

Ensure that clear strategies, targeted and optimized media mix, innovative messaging, continual test and learn, and actionable measurement are in place.

Alongside the Media Planners, manage ongoing optimization efforts to meet campaign goals, including daily management of campaign budgets, bid management, reporting, keyword and targeting strategies, and campaign revisions based on performance history and our client's goals.

Plan retail media display campaigns, daily optimizations, bid strategy development and managed and budget pacing.

Use the latest technology and best practice to build strategic automation into campaign management and reporting.

Able to articulate data strategy and deliver recommendations to client regarding unique targeting opportunities.

Responsible for communication of campaign performance and work with our analytics teams and tech partners to develop and update performance reports to provide actionable insights and analysis.

Ensure campaigns are run to agree upon best practice guidelines.

Delegate and teach junior staff to independently manage campaigns successfully with QA support, support hands-on keys when needed.

Assist and attend regularly scheduled client performance and status meetings along with ad-hoc presentations/requests.

Direct Report to Director, Commerce Media.

QUALIFICATIONSEducation Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in advertising, Marketing or Communications.Work Experience & Skills Requirements:At least 4 years of experience in digital marketing / media and current knowledge of trends and innovations in digital media including: retail media display, retail search, paid search, paid social, programmatic. Preferably with agency background.

Strong background in performance, in-store and commerce/retail media is a bonus.

Experience managing budgets, meeting KPIs and informing KPI goals.

Advanced computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong personal organizational, communication and prioritization skills with a strong attention to detail.

Creative problem-solver working with data both to solve problems and tell the story effectively.

Confident presenter and clear, persuasive communicator (verbal and written) of complex data/details.
