Job Overview
The Gogo Business Aviation Marketing and communications team is growing, with exciting advances in digital and data-informed strategies, and we're looking for a Jr. Graphic Designer to join our Creative Team. Ultimately, you’ll help us maintain and grow the company’s reputation and drive innovation in the business aviation space through creating compelling and effective visual communications.We’re looking for a proactive self-starter – someone who is passionate about design and design trends, is eager to research and learn, with a can-do attitude. Collaboration and communication are key, as well as the ability to articulate design choices and receive feedback. You must be reliable, organized and detail-oriented (maybe even nitpicky, as perfection is our goal), and have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. A sense of humor and the ability to remain calm under pressure will serve you well.You will work on a wide array of marketing design projects including social posts, print and digital ads, ad resizing, print and digital collateral edits, and the ability to layout blocks of text, creative infographics, brochures, data sheets, eBooks, and PowerPoint presentations. This role will require a steady amount of production work, so you need to be cool with it, and excellent at, those types of needs.Responsibilities
Execute in all phases of the graphic design process, from ideation through final deliveryDesign brand, collateral, sales enablement, full funnel and campaign assets for web and printCollaboratively work with the Creative Director, plus Brand, Digital and Segment leaders to understand the goals and solutions of each project and/or assetWork effectively on multiple design projects simultaneouslyPresent ideas, mockups, and design comps to achieve stakeholder buy-inStay on top of standards for graphic optimization, digital sizing, print production, and other critical elements of design production and delivery details.Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Art, Communications, Marketing, or related field1-2 years' experience in a Design role at an advertising or marketing agency or in-house marketing or creative services departmentAn online portfolio showcasing your knowledge of typography, composition, and general design principles across varied mediaMust be willing to be in the officeRequired Skills, Experience, and Talent
High efficiency with the Adobe Creative Suite: InDesign, Photoshop, and IllustratorKeen eye for typography, imagery, and graphic elementsEnsure everything produced stays on brand and understand and work within the established brand guidelines and brand standardsMac-leaning but Windows-capableExcellent workflow and project/task management abilityA team player who likes to collaborate with a “get-things-done” mentalityPreferred Skills, Experience, and Talent
