Join SolarWinds and grow with us!Your Role:SolarWinds North America Marketing team is searching for an Events Manager who can own event management from end to end. This role will manage logistics as well as work with cross-functional teams to develop the pre- and post- event strategy. The Events Manager will help drive lead generation and increase brand awareness while creating opportunities to tell the story of SolarWinds and the customers we serve. The role will have strong engagement with all members of the marketing, sales, and channel teams to manage event initiatives that drive growth for the business.Your Impact:Coordinate with Marketing & Sales teams to create and manage pre and post-event attendee engagement campaigns across all channels (email, social, digital, etc…)Bring creative ideas to campaigns and events to showcases the SolarWinds brand in a unique and meaningful wayDefine and drive individual plans for every event, including setting goals (brand awareness, pipeline, bookings), budgets, creating work-back plans and engaging relevant stakeholders across the organizationSource and negotiate contracts with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely, cost-effective, seamless execution of eventsPartner with internal teams to define strategy as well as delivering exclusive events and roundtables for key buyer personasWork across PR and AR to maximize media opportunities and event coverageDeliver innovation to the overall events program and approach on a continuous basisReport on event performance and recommend future investments based on learningsYour Experience:3-5 years in event marketing or related fieldSolid experience with all marketing components associated with event ranging from banner ads, email campaigns, PR/Media, paid social, copywriting/content, lead generation and nurturingExperience in executing a variety of event programs including virtual events, field events, partner events, hosted events, and trade showsAbility to maintain plans for a 12-month field events calendar and ensure alignment to the company’s messaging and strategy as plans evolveExperience negotiating and managing vendor contracts and subcontractorsExperience successfully partnering with cross-functional departments such as Sales, Channel, and Customer SuccessClear decision-making skills; you are someone who naturally steps up and takes ownership of all aspects of a campaign or eventStrong ability to operate with a people-first mindset, including both internal and external stakeholdersHistory of building trust across teams through written and verbal communicationsSelf-starter with effective time-management and multi-tasking skillAbility to travel 30%Experience with the following tools not required but preferred – Coupa, Allocadia, Salesforce, Marketo, Tableau, SharePoint, Microsoft Teams, AcceleventsSolarWinds is an Equal Employment Opportunity Employer.
