Content Coordinator . This person is a key part of the digital and assignment desk team as we are in some pretty exciting times in the newsroom. If you are smart, motivated and want to make a difference, you will fit in nicely.Responsibilities:Contribute to digital content on all platforms.Schedule posts on the website and social media platforms.Confirm and cover breaking news, local news, and statewide news.Write and copyedit digital content.Ensure the newsroom is alerted when breaking news happens.Work with producers to ensure what’s covered on the web is also covered in the show and vice versa.Requirements:Bachelor’s degree preferred.Ability to write and edit copy for website and other digital platforms.Time management skills.People skills.Multitasking skills.Project management skills.The ability to collaborate with large teams.PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENTThe physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
