Could you communicate and market this local organisation, using and building on their existing social media platforms, branding, and community presence?Kew Neighbourhood Association (KNA)

connects local volunteers with people living in Kew who need practical help or would welcome companionship whilst still maintaining their independence.In this part-time role, you will:Create and share social media campaigns reflecting KNA’s client base and the ethos of the organisation.Update KNA’s website on a regular basis.Engage with clients, volunteers, the local community, and supporters.Refresh the KNA Information Board to ensure information is current and informative.Monitor and maintain KNA’s visibility within Kew.Assist the Director in developing and implementing their Marketing Strategy as part of KNA’s Business Planning.Help organise and attend key annual events, including the Annual General Meeting.Collect stories from clients, volunteers, and partner organisations that reflect KNA’s impact and meaning to local people, building towards KNA’s 50th anniversary in 2027.To apply, you need to derive satisfaction from helping people, reflecting the ethos and values of the charity as a caring and locally based community organisation. You will be able to communicate effectively and appropriately with people from a wide range of backgrounds, and have good written and spoken English, particularly as you will translate interviews with the local community into compelling stories.You’ll be familiar with social media platforms and management tools, the updating of websites, and proficient in the use of Microsoft Office including Excel.The ability to act on your own initiative, but with the flexibility to adapt work to priorities is required.The role is home-based, with local meetings in Kew plus use of resources at the KNA Office.The closing date for applications is Sunday 8 September 2024.Interviews will be conducted during the week commencing 16 September in Kew.
