Overview

The

Employee Engagement & Communications Manager

is responsible for conveying meaningful internal communications from the Executive Leadership team to PowerSchool employees globally. Using various communication channels, this person will create and distribute intentional messaging to employees to support the company's strategy and mission. The EE&C Manager is also responsible for managing employee engagement, as well as events at our Folsom Headquarters, driving to improve employee recognition and on-site engagement. This position is an individual contributor role with no direct reports and tactical responsibilities.Responsibilities

Essential duties and responsibilities

include the following. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.Partner directly with CEO and Executives to understand organizational goals and develop communication strategies and content to supportAbility to understand and interpret the needs, preferences, and feedback of stakeholders to take appropriate action.Lead the development and execution of internal communications strategies.Lead Folsom on-site events planning to improve employee experience and increase engagement.Support production and content for Global Town HallsContent development and hosting for People Experience leadership sessions.Proactively create and manage standalone messaging and campaigns through email, chat, intranet, presentations, digital signage and other channels to deliver compelling content that engages employees and strengthens company culture.Serve as primary author of executive communication, organizational announcements, and change management messaging that align with brand voice, goals, and values.Develop and support engagement surveys, pulse surveys, and eNPS and make recommendations based on results.Cross collaboration with other program leaders and Marketing team to ensure consistency with internal and external communication strategy and messaging.Contribute to the production of weekly company newsletter.Monitor and measure the effectiveness of internal communications and make improvements based on data analysis and feedback.Stay up to date on industry best practices and identify needed changes.Qualifications

The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.Qualifications include:Bachelor’s degree in marketing, journalism, or communications5+ years of experience working in Marketing, internal communications, or related field.Proven success increasing employee engagement.Experience partnering with CEO and/or other executives.Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective communication and presentation to stakeholdersStrong project management skills with ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.Creative messaging and story developmentAdobe InDesign, Photoshop, or other design experiencePreferred public company experience.Candidates must be located in the greater Sacramento/Folsom area.Environmental FactorsWhen in a PowerSchool office, you will experience a collaborative work environment near co-workers.Expect social interactions and interruptions.Rare travel.Physical RequirementsLifting/Carrying:Occasionally carrying items weighing under 10 lbs.Rarely carrying items weighing between 11-20 lbs.Twisting/Turning:Occasionally reaching over shoulder, overhead and reaching outwardOccasionally bendingFrequently walking normal surfacesConstant sittingOther:Constant use of keyboard, fine dexterity, grasping, holdingConstant repetitive motion – handsCompensation & Benefits
