We use behavioral economics, habit science and technology to motivate and sustain behavior change in some of the highest need and most underserved populations in the US (think Medicaid and Medicare), drastically changing their quality of life and health outcomes. We have demonstrated results with several large insurers and health systems (e.g. reducing hospitalizations by over 40%), and are scaling the company and team. ABOUT THE ROLE

As the Director of Acquisition Marketing at Wellth, you will be our foremost patient/user advocate and story teller! We are looking for someone who can examine a patient population, understand their motivations, fears, how they use healthcare, what barriers are in their way, and what makes them tick. You will develop our patient-facing brand and communication strategy, and communicate this to others. You will own the patient-marketing strategy, channel strategy, message, tactics, and what success looks like, and drive awareness, enthusiasm and participation in our programs. Being supported by Wellth is no cost to patients - we just have to get the word out!

You will work closely with Product, Design, Behavioral Science, Data and Operations teams. We’re not just “doing consumer marketing”, we’re conducting deep user research, focusing on patients that need our help the most, building out products, scaling with automation, constantly experimenting and measuring everything. You are the type of person who can tap their right brain for creative thinking and story-telling, and then their left brain to create processes that scale and can be systematically optimized.

Success in this role is to generate awareness, interest and enthusiasm in our target patient markets - those with chronic conditions that need help building healthy, lasting habits to help them feel their best every day and stay out of the hospital.

What You'll Do

Conduct qualitative user (patient) research to build a rich profile of our target patients/members and their needs, wants, challenges, and motivations; act as the “voice of the patient user” within Wellth

Craft our product “brand” to our patients as well as messaging and positioning. Wellth doesn’t cost anything for a patient, but why should they give us their time and their trust?

Build and evolve messaging used to communicate the value of our (no-cost!) offering to patients across marketing channels. Own specific channels including email, SMS, Direct Mail, Social, phone and more

Identify and create high-value content to aid in the conversion funnel, examples being video, testimonials, web copy, blog posts, social posts

Develop and evolve segmentation that guides the entire patient journey from outreach to onboarding to successful and lasting health habit formation

Advocate our approach with our customers - large health insurers and health systems

Research and identify opportunities for new use cases and patient populations

Conduct quantitative research and analysis in order to test/measure/learn (e.g. A/B Testing)

Grow and coach the acquisition marketing team

Minimum Requirements

Bachelor’s degree

Minimum of 8 years of marketing experience within a consumer focused product, ideally within healthcare or wellness

MUST BE

an experienced writer with very strong written and verbal communication skills

Have strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills

Experience in market research, sales and product marketing engagement

Tremendous empathy, inclination to take initiative, and a collaborative attitude

Natural curiosity, a fearless question asker, detail-oriented and have a passion for healthcare

Base Compensation: $160,000 - 200,000K
