Our client, a prestigious luxury resort in Vail, CO, is seeking an experienced Sales/Marketing Director to lead and enhance their sales and marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in hospitality sales and marketing, with a proven track record in the luxury resort sector. This leadership role demands a strategic thinker with a passion for delivering exceptional guest experiences and driving revenue growth.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategic Planning and Execution:

Develop and implement comprehensive sales and marketing strategies to achieve the resort's revenue and market share goals.Analyze market trends and competitors to identify opportunities for growth and differentiation.Lead the creation and execution of promotional campaigns, including digital marketing, social media, and traditional advertising.

Leadership and Team Management:

Oversee the sales and marketing team, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to ensure high performance and professional development.Foster a collaborative and innovative work environment, encouraging team members to contribute new ideas and strategies.

Client and Guest Relations:

Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.Ensure exceptional guest experiences by aligning marketing efforts with the resort's luxury brand standards and values.Represent the resort at industry events, trade shows, and networking functions.

Financial Management:

Manage the sales and marketing budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources to maximize return on investment.Monitor and report on key performance metrics, adjusting strategies as necessary to meet financial targets.

Brand Management:

Uphold and enhance the resort's brand image, ensuring consistent messaging across all marketing channels.Collaborate with other departments to align marketing initiatives with the overall guest experience.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Hospitality Management, or a related field; MBA preferred.Minimum of 5 years of experience in a leadership role within the hospitality industry, specifically in luxury resort sales and marketing.Proven success in developing and executing sales and marketing strategies that drive revenue and market share growth.Exceptional communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen eye for detail.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
