The posted UC salary scales set the minimum pay determined by rank and/or step at appointment. These openings will be at the level of Assistant Professor or above, depending upon the candidate's qualification and will be in the Health Sciences Clinical Series (non-tenure track).Criteria for the Professor in the HS Series:Health Sciences Clinical Professor series faculty engage in scholarly or creative activities which derive from and support their primary responsibilities in clinical teaching and professional and service activities.The divisions include:Integrative MedicineImmunologyInfectious DiseasesRheumatologyCardiologyNephrology and HypertensionEndocrinologyDiabetes and MetabolismGastroenterologyPulmonary and Critical Care MedicineGeneral Internal MedicinePrimary Care RheumatologyHematology/OncologyOccupational and Environmental MedicineRequirements include an M.D. and Board certification or eligibility within their specialty. Interest in teaching is essential. Academic rank and salary commensurate with qualifications.
