Vice President of Development & Communications (VP)

The Vice President of Development & Communications (VP) is responsible for leading all aspects of CHFH's fundraising and communication programs to achieve the organization's financial and relational goals. Reporting to the President & CEO, the VP works with the organization's Board of Directors, Committees, staff, and volunteers to maintain and increase financial support and public image for the organization.Job Responsibilities:

Oversees and maintains a comprehensive database of donors, volunteers, and supporters.Collaborates with staff, Board, Committees, and volunteers in the identification, cultivation, and solicitation of donors and prospects.Motivates, supervises, evaluates, and mentors the Development staff team.Manages a portfolio of high net worth donors and prospects.Manages a growing grant portfolio.Creates and oversees the creation of all communications and marketing materials.Serves as a key spokesperson for the organization.Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.At least 5 years' experience in fundraising.Experience in utilizing fundraising technology.Excellent communication skills.Integrity, transparency, and respect for all stakeholders.Exceptional planning skills.Staff supervision and leadership experience.Passion for Habitat's mission.Flexible work style.Track record of working effectively with diverse groups.This is a full-time position with a salary range of $55,000-$65,000 annually.
