Manager, communications - Driver Engagement

We are seeking a passionate and innovative Driver Engagement Manager to lead our driver engagement initiatives. As a Manager, Communications, your role will be pivotal in enhancing driver satisfaction, organizing and executing impactful customer campaigns that help reduce churn, and developing strategies to improve the overall driver experience. You’ll be reporting into the Sr. Manager of Marketing Enablement & Driver Engagement.

Primary Responsibilities:

Develop and implement strategies to enhance driver engagement and satisfaction. Work closely with Marketing, PR, and Operations teams to align driver engagement efforts with overall company goals. Ideate and drive the execution of content for a blog, monthly newsletters, and/or promotional videos.

Organize and manage events aimed at increasing driver satisfaction and loyalty.

Generate new ideas to improve the driver experience on our platform.

Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to implement driver-focused initiatives.

Identify and address issues that affect the driver experience. Provide feedback from drivers to management and stakeholders. Collect and analyze feedback from drivers to identify areas for improvement.

Utilize data to measure the effectiveness of engagement initiatives and events.

Serve as a liaison between drivers and the development team to communicate challenges and drive improvements. Monitor social media campaigns and analyze web traffic from the online community using key performance indicators (KPIs) through a partnership with Marketing.

Skills and Qualifications:

Great storytelling; passion for improving the driver experience.

4+ years of experience in a communications, marketing, or PR role.

Proven experience in event management, customer engagement, or a related role.

Strong problem-solving skills and agility to develop creative, engaging, and original content.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Experience with data analysis and using insights to drive decision-making.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) and web metrics.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00. Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses. Additional compensation for certain positions may also include stock.

Minimum Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Journalism, Business, or related field and 2 years’ experience in communications, journalism, business, or relevant area OR 4 years’ experience in communications, journalism, business, or related area.

Preferred Qualifications:Project Management, Supervising Associates
