For additional information, please visit Quarterra.com.Summary of Position:The Senior Director of Marketing will lead the company’s brand and marketing strategy at the corporate level and oversee local community strategy and execution. Cross-functional collaboration, including vendor management, is key to this role to ensure that the company’s brand identity and messaging are effectively portrayed across channels. In addition to developing marketing strategy and overseeing execution, the Senior Director will bring a strong analytical skillset to Quarterra, implementing measurement and analysis best practices and a continuous approach to optimization.Principal Duties and Responsibilities:Develop and implement annual marketing and communications strategy and budget to reach and resonate with the company’s key stakeholders, enhance brand reputation, and increase market share.Steward the brand, upholding and articulating brand standards throughout the organization, delivering tools and templates as needed.Design, implement, and gain adoption of marketing measurement processes, creating a culture of analysis and optimization.Partner with company leadership to understand and execute the organization’s brand vision and spearhead special projects as directed.Own the company’s digital marketing footprint, including websites, search, content marketing, and social media efforts, oversee agency partners, and set best practices among communities.Partner with HR, Communications, IT, Construction, Communities, and vendors to develop and implement campaign plans and initiatives.Develop video and written content for corporate marketing channels, including conceptualizing and creating virtual tours, interactive leasing walls, and more.Lead external communications, including earned, owned, and paid media plans, including crisis communications as needed.Oversee a team of marketing specialists, including digital marketing, social media, and community marketing.Coordinate with the community marketing team on marketing strategy, including traffic analysis, reputation management, community events, lead sourcing, management, etc.Lead community naming and branding efforts, including consultation on wayfinding and signage.Evaluate and select marketing-related vendors and service providers.Stay abreast of new technology, advancements, and changes in the marketing environment to best serve the objectives of the organization and adjust plans accordingly.Serve as a strong project management leader for simultaneous marketing campaigns and initiatives.General Overview of Compensation & Benefits:We reasonably expect the base compensation offered for this position to range from $180,000 - $200,000 annualized, subject to adjustment based on business-related factors such as employee qualifications, geographic pay differentials (e.g., cost of labor/living, etc.), and operational considerations.This position may be eligible for performance-based bonuses as determined in the Company’s sole discretion.This position will be eligible for company benefits in accordance with Company policy. This information is intended to be a general overview and may be modified by the Company due to business-related factors.Applicants may apply for this position via our careers website.Education and Experience Requirements:Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communication Studies, Business Administration, or related field required.12+ years of progressive marketing leadership experience required; extensive experience with the concepts and principles of one or more related fields or departments.5+ years of leadership experience directly managing three or more individuals, with demonstrated success in developing high performing teams.Previous experience in a house of brands environment, with asset management, financial services, or real estate preferred.Proficient with technology equipment and systems including Microsoft Office Suite.Prior experience in Acquia, Matterport, and Engrain/Sightmap preferred, with the ability to learn new systems quickly.Excellent verbal and written communication, with exceptional interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.Ability to foster teamwork, prioritize tasks, and delegate when appropriate.Act with empathy, integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Excellent organization skills and attention to detail with the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced, changing environment.Additional Requirements:10-20% travel for business, conference, and vendor meetings.Valid drivers’ license with a clean driving record.Physical Requirements:This is primarily a sedentary office position which requires the Senior Director, Marketing to have the ability to operate computer equipment, speak, hear, bend, stoop, reach, lift, and move and carry up to 25 lbs.
