Communications Manager (Global Sourcing & Procurement)What you’ll discoverInclusive culture and career growth opportunitiesGlobal Organization which collaborates across U.S., Canada, Europe, Australia and IndiaChallenging, collaborative, and team-based environmentWhat you’ll doIn this role you will manage the Global Business Services (GBS) internal communication function, including design, development and implementation of the GBS communications strategy. GBS includes Global Sourcing & Procurement and Global Continuous Improvement.You will be the primary advisor on all GBS departmental, business partner and vendor messaging, to ensure consistency, clarity and delivery to appropriate audiences via the most appropriate medium.Develops GBS communication strategies, including goals, messaging, channels, and tactics to engage Associates in vision, strategies, priorities, and drive results.Serves as communication advisor to GBS senior leadership team, advising on strategies, best practices, and tactics to ensure communication consistency and clarity, cultural alignment, and delivery to appropriate audiences via the most effective methods.Writes, edits, and produces leadership communications, such as organizational announcements, live presentations/decks, leadership emails, management talking points, speeches, webinars, and other multimedia communications, using comprehensive knowledge of GBS.Establishes internal communications best practices for GBS and identifies future opportunities.Develops GBS internal brand value communications and coaches teams on business partner communications.Uses effective feedback loops to cultivate meaningful two-way dialogue and ensure leadership understands Associates’ information needs and how they perceive information.Manages communication event content, including town hall meetings, leadership presentations, and presenter coaching.Measures communication effectiveness through various feedback mechanisms.Assists in developing presentations for key internal business partners. Develops key message points and their implementation in story ideas, pitches, and executive communication materials utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of GBS.Communicates in a manner that effectively translates technical terminology into "layman's" terms. Coaches and educates the GBS team on the application of best practices around communications and collaboration.Advises on SharePoint team sites and collaboration tool content. Supports site upgrades and expansion of functionality to meet audience needs. Partners with content owners to advise on appropriate communication and collaboration tools.Manage GBS survey efforts, including business partner satisfaction surveys and Associate engagement surveys, as well as surveys to support department initiatives.Collaborates with internal communications peers and cross-functional teams to determine best practices enhance community of practice and points of intersection to ensure streamlined & informed approach to strategic communicationsSupports GBS training and education efforts, including partnering with and advising subject matter experts on content, deployment, and effective delivery.Minimum QualificationsBachelor’s Degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent experienceKnowledge of effective communications strategy and best practicesExcellent verbal and written communication skills and interpersonal skillsAbility to effectively interact with various levels of the organizationExcellent communication and collaboration technology skills, including Microsoft tools such as PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint and TeamsSkilled in collaborating and influencingProven experience as a strategic thinker, planner and implementerProven experience as a networker and facilitatorExcellent prioritization and project management skills and ability to manage a large number of projects simultaneouslyExcellent execution against timelines and attention to detailGood customer service skillsAbility to manage and lead change processesExperience with a global organization a plusThis position has a starting salary range of $90,200 to $115,200 per year.Actual starting pay is determined by a number of factors, including relevant skills, qualifications, and experience.This position is eligible for an annual incentive as well as long-term incentives.
