As a Marketing Specialist, you will support the College Sports marketing team, complete assigned initiatives, defined marketing strategies, and tactical plans. This includes executing go-to-market activities that support organizational goals such as driving buy rate and growth. You will work with a functional Manager to manage and complete all activities and deliverables for assigned projects.YOU HAVE:Technical skills:

Thorough understanding of marketing elements (including traditional and digital marketing) and market research methods.Attention to detail:

Proven ability to independently manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced and deadline-driven environment.Great communication skills:

Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively with all levels of the organization. Skilled in writing and editing content.Experience:

3-5 years’ professional marketing experience. Experience in collateral development, marketing communications, and overseeing digital channels (including web/ecommerce, print, email, paid search, paid advertising, SEO/SEM, social, and SMS).Education:

BA/BS degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.Preferred:

Social marketing experience with a special interest or knowledge in sports. Strong analytical skills with an understanding of data/analytics.YOU WILL:Manage execution and coordination of marketing plans to reach growth targets.Develop, implement, and track business-specific digital marketing initiatives, such as email, paid media, social, SMS, and JCOM/ecommerce.Design and create marketing materials, such as sales and product collateral, and ensure brand guidelines are met.Assist in outbound or inbound marketing activities by demonstrating expertise in various areas (content development and optimization, advertising, physical/virtual events, etc.).Partner with Merchandising/Product team on all product launches and positioning.Develop and oversee data/analytics tracking. Monitor identified key KPIs for the business & report findings.Partner with analytics team to analyze and report on the performance and efficiency of campaigns using Salesforce Reports.Leverage marketing data (campaign results, conversion rates, traffic, etc.) to help shape future marketing strategies.Research sports championship data and report on sports activity weekly (wins/losses).Provide championship lead generation for the sales team.Partner with internal teams to execute all marketing plans.Establish relationships and communicate regularly with sales reps to understand their needs to support account growth (i.e. Buy Rate improvements, Net Account growth, Unit Sales, Gross Revenue, and EBITDA).Develop needed collateral, visual merchandising, digital, and in-school event support for key events.Implement ways to help the reps evolve local marketing and grow local revenue through corporate marketing support.Prepare and package materials and product for special events and trade shows; responsible for shipping & handling.Work weekends.
