Full Time JobFotoKem, a leading digital and film post-production facility in Burbank, is looking for a Creative Services DI Conform Producer/ Editor to help support our dynamic and growing company. FotoKem provides creative and technical support to all major studios in Hollywood, and has been a respected part of the global film-making community since 1963. We are looking for an experienced and capable candidate who will report to the Vice President of Operations and work alongside the diverse family of employees in FotoKem's film laboratory, digital services departments and audio houses.
Job PurposeWe are seeking a motivated and client friendly Producer/Conform Editor to support The Lodge in Creative Services. This is a hybrid role and ideal candidates will have experience producing content through a DI environment and have the technical abilities to perform artist duties such as conform.
The DI Conform Producer/ Editor provides support for Lodge DI finishing. The DI Editor is responsible for conforming high resolution picture elements per the client provided metadata and reference media. This role is also responsible for VFX drop-ins and editorial support for our DI Colorists, as well as occasional client sessions for QC and VFX reviews. The DI Editor will work closely with the DI Producer to ensure accurate conform with limited notes from the creative editorial team. This role is key in supporting theatrical and home video deliverables, inclusive of final exports and through archive.

The Producer duties include but are not limited to:• Billing, client communication, internal scheduling, work order creation, queue entry creation.• The Producer for The Lodge is the main point of contact and is responsible for ensuring excellent customer service while managing the client expectations.• Is responsible for all internal communication and scheduling needed to complete the project.
The DI editor role is the technical side of this work. Responsibilities include but are not limited to:• Resolve conform, VFX management and drop-ins, timeline maintenance, color correction assistance, applying grades for senior colorist, pixel fixes, creating deliverables and setting up theaters outside of The Lodge for DCP approval sessions.
This is an entry level job and training will be provided, but having Resolve conform knowledge or experience with other NLEs is preferable. We also expect that the ideal candidate has excellent attention to detail and will have an outgoing and positive attitude as they will be supporting up-and-coming filmmakers who are eager to learn.
