on-site role in Redmond, WA .Pay Range:

$35/hr – $39/hrOur client has an exciting opportunity to work alongside the team responsible for a top-selling and critically acclaimed franchise. As a VFX Artist, you will be responsible for authoring and placing particle and atmospheric effects to efficiently achieve high-quality game content that meets studio and fan expectations.Job Responsibilities:Identify efficient VFX authoring workflows, working with Engine and Tech Art teams to implement.Author new particle effects using our proprietary system.Author procedural content and texture maps to drive VFX systems like clouds and weather.Use a node-based system to author materials to enhance particle visuals.Use our car and environment authoring tools to place VFX systems into content packages.Ensure that our VFX systems operate at or under our performance budget.Collaborate with Art Directors to develop a photorealistic visual style consistent with game visuals.Qualifications:BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Graphic Arts, Art, or a related field.Experience authoring VFX on one or more AAA titles.Proven ability to take art direction and enhance visuals.Strong knowledge of one or more major 3D content creation packages, Houdini preferred.Experience with next-generation content creation techniques.Experience crafting high-fidelity VFX with a limited performance budget.Work well under deadlines and multi-task.The target hiring compensation range for this role is $35/hr – $39/hr. Compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to education, relevant work experience, relevant certifications, and location.About Aquent Talent:
