The Highlights:In accordance with the mission of the Department of Athletics, this position serves as Associate Athletic Director, Marketing & Fan Experience within the guidelines of the NCAA, the BIG EAST Conference, and DePaul University. This position is responsible for developing and executing comprehensive marketing strategies to enhance the visibility and reputation of DePaul Athletics, increase fan engagement, and drive ticket sales. The Associate AD, Marketing & Fan Experience will lead efforts to create memorable gameday experiences, manage digital and traditional marketing campaigns, and oversee fan engagement initiatives.

What You'll Do:Develop and execute innovative and effective promotions and game day fan experiences (e.g. interactive promos/giveaways, game scripts, introductions/timeouts/halftime entertainment, sponsor activations, video board/ribbon board elements, etc.) for Men’s Basketball. Support attendance and ticket sales campaigns to meet defined revenue goals.Coordinate advertising campaigns across various platforms. Analyze and report on metrics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and adjust strategies as needed.Direct oversight of Assistant AD of Marketing & Fan Experience, Marketing Assistant, and Student Workers, providing mentorship and professional development opportunities.Plan, promote, and execute DePaul Basketball preseason events, including the Season Ticket Holder Event, Blue Madness, and Open Practice.Develop and manage the Marketing & Fan Experience budget. Ensure effective allocation of resources to maximize impact and return on investment.Knowledge of and adherence to all NCAA rules, policies, and procedures. Attend and participate in monthly NCAA rules compliance education meetings.Manage the Marketing & Fan Experience budget.What You'll Need:Bachelor's Degree required; Master's degree preferred.Minimum 4-6 years experience in sports marketing, fan engagement, or related fields, with a track record of success.Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a team.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative marketing strategies.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in all aspects of the role.Valid driver's license is preferred.In-depth understanding of sports marketing principles and strategies.Familiarity with collegiate athletics and NCAA regulations.Understanding of brand management and its importance in sports marketing.Strong organizational and project management skills.Advanced skills in data analysis and reporting.Excellent presentation and public speaking skills.Capacity to think creatively and innovate marketing approaches.Ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders.Capacity to lead and mentor a team effectively.Ability to manage budgets and allocate resources efficiently.Position requires working evening and weekend hours during the school year, including several events in a variety of climate conditions.Occasional travel as necessary.Perks:Working for a stable and well-known University that values diversity and inclusion.Top choice medical, dental, and vision benefits.Retirement plan matching contribution of 10%.Tuition waivers for employees
