If you’re a high energy morning on air talent, who likes wearing different hats, have we got the job for you!FOX 9 KMSP in Minneapolis/St. Paul is searching for a self-starter and multi-tasker to be the newest member of our AM team. You’ll start your days producing and delivering traffic reports for our top rated FOX 9 Morning News. After that, you’ll be part of a team that is creating live, engaging streaming coverage that isn’t just reading the news. Instead, you’ll be finding and producing interviews and other engaging content, then putting on your “on camera” hat to deliver that content.Traffic Responsibilities include:Monitoring MnDot for traffic informationMust be able to operate WSI traffic applicationsMust be able to handle breaking traffic incidents.Must be comfortable with presenting traffic information utilizing key wallKnowledge of local interstate system and highwaysMust become knowledgeable on current and future construction projectsDigital Desk Responsibilities include:Brainstorming and executing interesting, engaging newsmaker guestsHaving a keen sense of the news cycle, for yesterday, today and what’s coming upBe fast on your feet…an excellent “ad-libber”. Our streaming content is off the cuff and conversational. We don’t script much and a lot can happen fast!Again, you must be conversational and comfortable on air. Rarely if ever will you work off a prompter. On camera presentation must be warm and engaging, and you must have at least 3 years of on-air experience.
