PRIMARY FUNCTIONS

This position assists the Marketing department with creative projects, development and distribution of marketing and sales materials, assists in the overall layout, design and production of marketing and advertising material, brochures, and other types of promotion materials for all Notre Dame FCU brands. Such design work should be in concert with the overall strategic objectives and brand personality.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Additional duties may be assigned from time to time to reflect changing circumstances.

Develop and execute marketing and sales operational plans, including promotional events, print media, literature, awareness-building initiatives, direct member contact, and motivating service-delivery personnel to provide exceptional member service.Propose, implement, and execute mission-serving graphic design projects from audience research to print.Assist with copywriting, design and layout for marketing collateral including, but not limited to: brochures, direct mail, POP displays, monthly inserts, and advertisements.Coordinate, organize, and follow up with newspaper vendors, freelancers, suppliers, special projects, and credit union events related to the Marketing Department's functions.Secure quotes from vendors regarding printed material.Create and manage creative assets for the branch lobby TVs, ATM/ITM screens, and branch EMC boards.Work closely with the content team to develop visually compelling infographics and data visualizations for reports, presentations, and marketing materials.Participate in brainstorming sessions to generate innovative ideas and concepts for marketing campaigns.Provide design support for special projects, such as rebranding efforts, new product launches, and corporate events, including ordering and managing Notre Dame FCU event materials.Develop and maintain the visual design of the company's website, including regular updates and improvements to enhance user experience and engagement.Collaborate with the marketing team to create engaging content for social media platforms, ensuring consistent brand messaging and visual identity.Produce multimedia content, including animations, to support marketing campaigns and promotional efforts.Conduct market research and analyze design trends to keep the company's visual assets current and competitive.Stay updated on the latest design software and tools, and proactively seek opportunities for professional development and skill enhancement.Support the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including designing templates and creating visually appealing email content (HTML skills a plus).Assist in the development and execution of branding initiatives, including the creation of brand guidelines and the implementation of consistent brand elements across all channels.Copywriting is required.

They must be able to handle multiple projects simultaneously and must be a team player. This person must be able to meet applicable production and distribution deadlines for marketing plans, programs and collateral materials.

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIREMENTS

No financial industry experience required.Bachelor’s Degree in Graphic Design or similar course concentration.Designers with intermediate animation and motion graphic experience are preferred.3+ years of experience in graphic design.Outstanding time management and organizational abilities.Ability to handle stress in a fast-paced work environment.Skills in advanced software programs including Adobe Acrobat, Adobe Photoshop, Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe InDesign, and Adobe Illustrator.Thorough understanding of color theory, typography, layout, branding, and iconography.Knowledge of graphic design techniques.Examples of past work.HTML a plus.Must have the ability to work independently; take an idea and run with it.Must be able to operate multi-media programs such as e-mail and Internet programs, as well as miscellaneous marketing software that might be applicable from time to time.Bilingual a plus.

OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Must be able to perform tasks using PC operating system. Must be able to operate multi-media programs such as e-mail and Internet programs, as well as miscellaneous marketing software that might be applicable from time to time.
