Graphic Designer

to join our team. The

Graphic Designer

at Frazer reports to the

Marketing Manager , and is responsible for designing vinyl graphics and paint layouts for customer emergency vehicles. This individual not only communicates design vision and deadlines with utmost clarity to both internal and external stakeholders, but also creates vivid graphical mockups that mirror precise requirements. Spearheading the coordination effort, they seamlessly collaborate with the Graphics Production Team to provide completed materials to the Graphics Installation Team and instructions to the Paint Team on time and on budget.

What Does a Week in the Life of the Graphic Designer Look Like?Review the Graphics Production Schedule to maintain an understanding of project deadlines.Review previous vehicle photos and other documentation for details on materials, colors and printing methods used.Facilitate comprehensive in-person and/or virtual meetings with customers to review standards, meticulously analyze requirements, and gain a thorough understanding of the objectives and goals for upcoming graphics projects.Based on requirements, analyze and determine the optimal material usage and printing standards for each graphics project.Review physical dimensions and take accurate measurements of emergency vehicles in Production to ensure proper fit and scale of all graphical mockups.Create graphical mockups for ambulances and other EMS vehicles based on customer expectations. These graphical mockups should accurately illustrate all sides of the vehicle and include full details and descriptions of paint colors, vinyl materials and other details requested by the customer.Analyze customer logos / patches / emblems and redraw them if necessary.Present draft graphical mockups to the Sales Team prior to sending to the customer for final review allowing for feedback. After approval, present finalized graphical mockups to the customer, actively seeking and gathering their valuable feedback, promptly submitting revisions as necessary.Manage Customer Approvals: Send approval forms to the customer and manage their digital signature in our system. Ensure version control standards are observed.Communicate with The Purchasing Team to ensure that all required materials are pre-ordered in advance.Create/process purchase orders, invoices and/or credit card payments for customer orders when needed.Deliver and review finalized mockups with the Graphics Team and assist in creating camera-ready art.Generate versions of the mockup to be used as a guide for the Graphics Installation Team, Paint Team & Quality Control Team.Maintain direct communication with the Graphics Installation Team to allow for quick execution of any re-work needed to complete customer units.Closely monitor in-stock materials to ensure the required materials are on-hand to complete customer units.Deliver completed jobs to the Distribution Department for shipping and/or Service Department for Application.Track Shipments of outgoing Graphics Jobs and incoming materials to ensure proper delivery.Retrieve vinyl materials from the Distribution Department when material shipments are received.Occasional creation and printing of signage used by the Sales & Marketing Team, Human Resources, & Safety Department.

Required Education and Experience:Understanding of Graphic Design standards and software, especially Adobe Illustrator.Excellent active listening skills and the confidence to communicate effectively with customers.Minimum of 4 years of previous Graphic Design experience.A passion for designing stunning graphics for vehicles!Excellent attention to detail.

Preferred Education and Experience:College degree in a related field (Communications, Graphic Design).5-7 years of previous Graphic Design experience.In-depth knowledge of the Adobe Suite.

Oh, and $alaryOf course, we didn't forget salary… Frazer offers competitive pay and this role will start with a salary between $34.00 to $36.00 per hour depending on education, certifications, and experience.

Work ScheduleThe

will work

Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM . Late afternoon/evening/weekend hours may be required as needed. Work schedules may change to accommodate production needs.
