FlexSteel embodies teamwork with a focus on hiring top talent and developing employees.The Media Designer is responsible for building graphics, documents, presentations, and promotional materials to support the development of the FlexSteel brand website, company training, and marketing initiatives. The ideal candidate will be process-oriented, have a keen sense of detail, able to multi-task, and take ownership of multiple projects. This role will require an in-depth knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite and web-design languages such as HTML-5.ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIESDevelop graphic designs for the company website, media presentations, and brochures using computer software.Build and animate media presentations.Prepare rough concepts and layouts to review with internal teams.Work with managers to develop training videos.Create 3D animations of equipment based on drawings, photographs, and videos.Able to translate ideas and text into graphic representations.Design and print charts, graphs, illustrations, and other artwork using computer software.Develop designs, trade show graphics, and layouts based on knowledge of design principles and concepts.Proofread designs for errors before final printing or publishing.Review final layouts and suggest improvements as needed.Create or update documents, brochures, and promotional material using various programs.SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIESNoneEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE and QUALIFICATIONSMinimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in graphic design. Commensurate education and experience will be considered.Strong graphic illustration and design skills.3+ years’ experience with the Adobe Creative suite, basic web design, and PowerPoint.2+ years minimum experience with animation software.Portfolio of current work.Ability to create storyboards and graphics.A strong understanding HTML 5 and CSS.Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining a high quality of work.Strong problem-solving skills.Skilled in PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Outlook.Ability to incorporate AI generated audio into animations and PowerPoint presentations is a plus.PHYSICAL DEMANDSThe ability to work off-site in the field or manufacturing facilities for photo/video shoots.WORK ENVIRONMENTNormally work in an office environment or from home as needed by the business; however, occasionally may work at a branch location or manufacturing facility.Occasionally may be exposed to hazards such as loud noise, heavy equipment, temperature extremes, chemicals, etc., while visiting a branch location or manufacturing facility.The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.Flexsteel Pipe is an equal opportunity employer.
