Our mission drives us forward, but our team is at the heart of everything we do.About the Job OpportunityThe Producer at the Center for Action and Contemplation plays a vital role in supporting the creative execution of multimedia productions, including podcasts, videos, and virtual events. Working closely with the Senior Producer and Director of Production and Events, this position translates creative concepts into actionable plans, coordinating with internal teams, vendors, and talent to ensure efficient workflows and timely project completion within budget.The Producer helps to manage all stages of the production lifecycle, from content development to post-production editing and asset management. Additionally, this role fosters collaborative relationships with talent, implements innovative solutions to enhance quality and efficiency, and maintains the organization's high standards for engaging multimedia content.What You’ll Do:

Translate creative vision into detailed production plans, ensuring meticulous organization and execution across various platforms.Serve as the primary point of contact for all production activities, coordinating with internal teams, external vendors, and talent.Oversee the planning and execution of podcast, video, and virtual event productions, collaborating closely with the Senior Producer and Director of Production and Events to ensure alignment with creative vision and organizational goals.Manage the post-production workflow for podcast, video, and virtual event projects, including editing, quality control, and final delivery of assets, ensuring adherence to established standards and timelines.Collaborate closely with the Senior Producer to deliver projects within budgets and schedules, proactively identifying and resolving potential roadblocks.Cultivate and manage relationships with internal/external talent, including hosts, guests, and crew, to foster a collaborative environment.Stay current on industry trends and best practices, implementing innovative solutions to enhance production quality and efficiency.Ensure efficient workflows and timely completion of projects through effective production coordination.Who you are:

Bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, or related field, or equivalent experience.2-4 years of experience as an associate producer/production manager or related experience with budgeting, scheduling, and content development and production across multiple mediums.Experience working collaboratively with creative, marketing, and editorial teams.Strong writing skills for audio.Understanding of multiple podcast styles, such as documentary, interview, narrative, and conversational.Experience with producing media in Religion and Spirituality and concepts of Contemplation.The physical requirements of the position include:

Sitting for long periods of time.Use of computer, keyboard and monitor is necessary.Must be able to speak English and hear spoken words.Ability to lift and carry approximately 50 pounds.Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.May require some travel and working evenings and weekends.Application and Job Specifications

At CAC, we are pleased to offer a salary range of $57,200 - $71,500 (based on experience) for this position. CAC salaries are one part of a generous total rewards package that also includes industry-leading flexibility, benefits, and paid leave. Salaries are established based on a grade system designed to ensure competitiveness with industry standards as well as pay equity.
