Marketing plays an important part in sustaining our brand development through effective marketing strategies to increase the demand for our product among our customers and supply chain partners.We are looking for a passionate and self-motivated marketer to engage with stakeholders to increase demand for our Automotive Refinish (AR) products. You will be responsible for end-to-end product development, planning and executing marketing campaigns, and developing and engaging with business partners to bring the products to the customers.Below is a synopsis of your role:Responsible for the new and existing product planning and execution throughout the product lifecycle including gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product positioning.Conduct consumer/market research by maintaining understanding of market landscape, customer requirements, and mapping of competitor’s activities.Responsible for analyzing market trends and data using internal and external secondary research and hands-on primary research to develop, maintain and monitor a portfolio of AR products across all channels.Identifying product gaps and business opportunities against competitor’s product range line-up.Formulating a commercial calendar detailing distribution, display, promotion, and activation priorities, delivering the highest quality service alongside the sales team and other trade marketing executives.Your responsibilities will require you to collaborate and communicate extensively with various stakeholders both internally within the Company or group of companies and externally with our business partners.The Person:Background:Bachelor's Degree in Marketing and Business. Those with Engineering & Sciences background are encouraged to apply.Experience:Possess a minimum of 3 years of working experience in the Automotive Refinish or OEM product segment.Experience in sales, product development, trade marketing, category development, or any other related areas.Familiar with workshops and body paint workshops.Knowledge & Skill:Commercial savvy and sound understanding of the business and industry.Sound knowledge of product development, product positioning, channel segmentation, and product categories.Excellent command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.Good presentation skills and possess strong self-confidence to present to a large crowd.Able to work well under pressure to meet tight deadlines and handle multiple tasks.Enjoys working in a fast-paced, challenging yet fun environment.A highly motivated individual who is willing to take initiatives and follow up with details.A good team player.Able to work with minimal supervision and at times independently.Possess a pleasant personality, good interpersonal and communication skills, and able to work with all levels.
