We are looking for a high-energy communicator with strong writing and storytelling skills to help engage a new generation of listeners. The winning candidate must know how to manage tight deadlines, work independently on copy and take direction from a producer.Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Write news stories that are clear, accurate and unbiasedDeliver news copy on air with a conversational and engaging deliveryRead and understand complex material and turn it into easily understood copy under deadline pressureAnchor live coverage of breaking news and/or special coverageConduct live and/or taped interviewsAbility to develop and effectively pitch story ideasBe consistently up to date on local, national and international storiesExperience with news software like Newsboss or BurliConnect with listeners on social and digital platforms to promote the brandMinimum Qualifications

At least five years of anchoring experience is required.
