WOWT is on the hunt for a dynamic storyteller with a passion for news. We need a Producer with excellent journalistic judgment who can break down complicated subjects in an engaging and memorable way. This person must be an excellent writer, possess strong leadership and organizational skills, and be able to perform well under daily deadlines.Duties/Responsibilities:
Write scripts for broadcast and digital platformsCommunicate with anchors, assignment desk, field crews, and others to ensure execution of a high-quality newscastProduce live breaking news and special event coverageQualifications/Requirements:
A bachelor’s degree in communication, journalism or a related fieldPrevious experience as a producer preferredExcellent writing and communication skillsFlexible work hours required, must be willing and able to work a variety of shifts including but not limited to: mornings, afternoons, evenings, late nights, holidays, weekends and possible overtime hours.Must be willing to work in Omaha, NEIf you feel you’re qualified and want to work with a great group of people go to
