The Editorial Content team seeks one (1) intern to support the team as they plan, pitch and execute their strategic plans. Ideally, the intern candidate should possess strong organizational, communication and writing skills. Attention to detail and basic computer skills — to include Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint — are required. Previous editorial or marketing internships are a plus, as is experience with content management systems.Primary Functions :Assist with website content development, including blogs and landing pagesResearch events in the Orlando areaSecure images to accompany event listingsWork in an ever-changing atmosphere where each day presents a new project and learning experienceQualifications
BasicExceptional writing skillsStrong organizational and communication skillsMust be enrolled in classes and pursuing a degree in English, journalism, creative writing, communications, marketing or advertisingProficient in Word, Excel and PowerPointStrong attention to detailAbility to work independently and in a team environmentKnowledge of social media platformsPreferredPrior writing, editing, marketing/advertising and/or digital experience is a plusPrior experience with content management systems is a plusAbility to speak and write Spanish and/or Portuguese is a plusLocation
**Interns will be paid
$15 per hour , must be
enrolled in classes , & must be able to work between
20-24 hours
a week. (3 days a week)Strong candidates may be invited for a phone screen.
