Travelon specializes in innovative solutions to common travel concerns, with travel security and anti-theft bags being a major focus.Job Description:We are seeking a creative and detail-oriented Junior Industrial Product Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Junior Industrial Designer, you will work closely with senior designers and product managers to develop innovative product concepts and designs. Your primary responsibilities will include conceptualizing ideas, creating sketches and renderings, prototyping, and assisting in the development of final product designs. To be successful in this role, you should have an eye for color and shape and be able to translate requirements into practical product features. Ultimately, you will help us build products that are innovative, easy to use, and visually appealing to our potential customers.Responsibilities:Generate product concepts and designs based on project requirements and user needsCollaborate with product managers and senior designers to develop design solutions and carry out daily tasksIdentify opportunities for new products defined by the needs of the market and our clients - those needs are often communicated to the designers by the sales/marketing teams or from direct participation with clientsAnalyze how a new product ties in with market needs and consumer preferencesSet design requirements based on briefs from internal teams and external partnersConduct research on materials, construction techniques, manufacturing processes, and industry trends to support design decisionsParticipate in brainstorming sessions and contribute creative ideas to enhance product designCreate sketches, renderings, and/or 3D models using CAD softwareCreate detailed product specs and work with the company’s own sample room to produce prototypes and test functionalitySupport design iterations and improvements of existing productsEnsure designs meet aesthetic, functional, and manufacturing requirementsPrepare presentations and design documentation for internal reviews and client meetingsGather feedback from product users by reading online reviews and reviewing factory defects and product returnsOrganize product samples and digital assetsSupport marketing teams with photo processing and editing as neededRequirements and skills:Experience in industrial design, ideally with some knowledge of cut and sew / soft goodsCreativity in mixing colors, shapes, styles and techniquesAbility to create sketches and renderings to communicate design concepts effectivelyHands-on experience with computer-aided design (CAD) toolsExperience with design programs (like Illustrator and Sketchbook)Time-management and organizational skillsAttention to detail and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneouslyGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a team environmentPortfolio showcasing design projects and creative abilitiesPreferred Qualifications:Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Design, Product Design, or a related fieldStrong proficiency in CAD software (SolidWorks, Rhino, etc.) and Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign)Solid understanding of design principles, materials, and manufacturing processes.These are real reviewsfrom real shoppers

I got one of these for each of my kids. They are the perfect size for them to take to overnight camp and on our upcoming trip to Yellowstone. They are lightweight and hold a surprising amount. The rear compartment fits a US passport nicely, but I doub't it's RFID protected. Putting too much in there will rip the stitching as some have noticed. ite directions, and the locking clasp on the strap/belt. I haven't used the bottle holder and may cut it off to use the compartment for storage of small things. This bag is great but there are trade-offs. It doesn't hold everything. You can overload it. You can rip it. It holds my phone (a big Galaxy Fold4), my passport & important cards, face mask (when people are coughing near me), some cash, boarding pass, and a few odds and ends. I am happy with it. It was made in China. Good quality.

imilar size as my Heritage crossbody, I stumbled on this one. I got it in Black. So far it is the best crossbody purchase I have ever made from Travelon! Thank you Travelon for making the best looking and most functional bags ever. I love the locks on all areas. I love the separate pockets. It is a great size for my height of 5'2".I love everything about this bag. I love Travelon so much, I added a Favorite item's page to my website just to show friends what I take when I travel. All the Travelon bags are great. The variety that is offered is nice for all shoppers but I must say it does make it hard to choose... so I have owned several!The anti-theft features are great for domestic or international travel! I also have the Anti-Theft Essentials Belt Bag which is also AMAZING when I wear clothes without pockets. I think I own appoximately 10 Travelon bags for various reasons and I love them all.
