McGarrah Jessee seeks a media supervisor who is both a creative thinker and passionate about the evolving media and technology landscape. This person will collaborate with all McGarrah Jessee disciplines to develop digital solutions and be able to make recommendations with compelling logic and enthusiasm. This is a hands-on position managing the strategy, planning and execution across multiple media efforts. The media supervisor will be responsible for building custom, holistic media plans and presenting them to clients on a regular basis. Experience managing multiple objectives (sales, awareness, etc.) across multiple tactics, plus broadcast, digital, social, OTT and location-based services are a must, and search marketing experience is a plus.Responsibilities:

Serve as an expert and thought leader on broadcast, digital marketing and digital media planning/buying practices for the engagement department and the agency.Monitor and report on relevant trends in the media landscape.Possess extensive understanding of the advertising industry’s infrastructure and systems.Support new business development efforts.Work in coordination with clients’ and the agency’s media planning, digital design/production and account management departments.Brainstorm with agency teammates to create concepts for client projects.Collaborate with other supervisors and AMDs to develop holistic market plans.Ensure broadcast, paid digital media, SEM/SEO, social media, sponsorship and OOH strategies align to our strategic and tactical goals.Project budget levels and/or budget needs based on client goals.Provide insight on pricing trends, research, client and vendor relationships and processes.Oversee the planning, development, purchase and execution of all broadcast media strategies working with buying department.Oversee the planning, development, purchase and execution of all digital media strategies.Manage reporting and plan optimization.Manage budgets, IOs and invoice reconciliation.Develop strong vendor partnerships.Provide written POVs.Act as a mentor for professional growth within the media team.Contribute and evolve a curriculum to train the media team on best practices, buying approaches and negotiations, analytics and tracking, campaign implementation, digital channel allocation, emerging opportunities and new partnerships.Review and, where appropriate, improve media department processes to reach optimal efficiency.Requirements:

5+ years of experience in digital marketing and online media planning/buying across various channels.Motivated, proactive self-starter with meticulous attention to detail.Experience with working autonomously on independent projects and proactively engaging team members to get support when needed.A successful track record of supervising and developing direct reports.Strong analytical and math skills.Exceptional oral, written and presentation skills, with experience in building decks and presentations rooted in insights to highlight key takeaways and guide optimizations.Proficiency in media software, planning tools and research platforms, reporting and optimization tools such as CM360, Kantar, Comscore, MRI, Nielsen, Emarketer and Simmons.Familiarity with web analytics tools such as Coremetrics, Omniture and Google Analytics.Experience with Google Ads and Microsoft Advertising.This is a remote position.
