Job Description: Event Planner (Sales) (Full-Time)

We are currently seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Event Planner (Sales) to join our team on a full-time basis. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the success of our events while working in a fast-paced and enjoyable environment.

Position Overview: As an Event Planner/Salesperson, you will play a pivotal role in managing client accounts and creating unforgettable events at our venue. Your responsibilities will encompass client communication, event planning, menu coordination, vendor recommendations, and overall event execution. This role is a perfect blend of sales, creativity, and organization, offering the chance to develop valuable skills in a collaborative and fun team setting.

Responsibilities:

Respond promptly and professionally to inquiries from prospective clients, providing them with comprehensive information about our venue's offerings and services.

Conduct engaging and informative tours for potential clients, showcasing our venue's unique features and helping them envision their event.

Collaborate with clients to understand their vision and preferences, offering expert guidance on event planning, menu selection, and event timeline.

Coordinate and plan every aspect of assigned events, ensuring that all details align with the client's wishes and our venue's standards.

Collaborate with culinary and service teams to create personalized menus that cater to the client's preferences and dietary requirements.

Prepare detailed event timelines that encompass all crucial aspects, from setup to breakdown, to ensure seamless event execution.

Recommend and coordinate with trusted vendors, such as florists, photographers, and entertainment, to enhance the event experience.

Maintain strong relationships with clients, guiding them through the planning process and addressing any concerns or changes that arise.

Provide outstanding customer service by being attentive, proactive, and responsive to client needs throughout the planning journey.

Oversee the execution of events, ensuring that all elements are in place, relay all information to our events manager/coordinator, and addressing any last-minute adjustments with professionalism.

Collaborate closely with our team members to foster a positive and supportive work environment.

Qualifications:

Previous experience in event planning or sales is preferred but not required. A passion for creating memorable experiences and a willingness to learn are essential.

A college degree in hospitality, event management, marketing, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with clients, vendors, and team members.

Creative mindset with an eye for detail to curate unique and visually appealing events.

Flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances and the demands of event planning.

Positive attitude, problem-solving skills, and a collaborative approach to teamwork.

Proficiency in using basic computer applications

Knowledge of Event planning softwares and Client Management tools is a plus.
