Blocker Education offers services to districts and schools that focus on continuous school improvement, equitable student outcomes, and leadership development.The Senior Graphic Designer independently executes the strategic vision of business development and general marketing materials through exceptional graphic design for Blocker Education Research, LLC (Blocker Education). The successful individual will create and maintain materials to communicate critical messages and key selling propositions. S/he will self-manage the creative and design process, consistently delivering exceptional product outcomes.The ideal candidate will have a strong customer focus with a critical mindset and sales drive. S/he must be focused on increasing brand recognition, consistency, and accuracy while collaborating across teams and clearly communicating vision and purpose.Job Description

Job Title:

Senior Graphic DesignerSuccess Criteria:Ability to leverage Microsoft Office applications and Adobe Creative Suite to execute exceptional graphic design deliverables.Ability to generate new, innovative ways to present material that improves business proposals, presentations, social media, and professional learning content.Ensuring brand consistency throughout various business development materials and projects.Participating in and embracing development opportunities.Key Areas of Collaboration and Influence:Communicate effectively with colleagues across the company to disseminate information effectively and participate in project groups and meetings as required.Collaborate with members of the Marketing, Content Development, and Consulting teams regularly.Promote Blocker Education’s vision.Use the business to promote and further develop Blocker Education.Candidate Experience:Proven work experience as a graphic designer in high-end graphics, marketing, or production environments utilizing Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.Strong knowledge of corporate branding, print and digital media, typography, color theory, and various design principles.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite.Exceptional project management, organizational, oral, and written communication skills, with keen attention to detail.Ability to meet rigorous deadlines while exceeding client expectations.Experience collaborating with a diverse team and understanding communication patterns of working with highly distributed teams.Key Accountabilities:Produce a wide variety of templated and non-templated creative outputs via Microsoft Office and Adobe Creative Suite to support business development and general marketing efforts, ensuring alignment with the company’s brand positioning.Manage creative requirements, expectations, and deadlines for all projects.Manage all creative designs from concept to delivery.Evaluate ideas suggested by stakeholders to determine alignment with strategic direction and client standards before implementing.Review design drafts from junior designers to ensure high quality of work.Develop and execute marketing education and training on tools and resources, as well as technical assistance, to bid managers and the business, as appropriate.Prioritize total workload with the CEO and communicate to internal stakeholders priority, progress, deadlines, and outstanding questions regularly.Create and review internal and external collateral, proofread content, ensure appropriate branding, and approve materials for final distribution as appropriate.Monitor and track assigned projects and follow through on all phases of production.Application Instructions:Please make sure to provide the following documents:ApplicationCover Letter to include two professional references
