We are looking for a talented Senior Product Designer specializing in user interface design for Windows desktop applications. In this role, you will enhance the UI framework of ArcGIS Pro, ensuring a consistent and intuitive user experience. You will stay current with the latest Windows desktop design patterns, contribute to our evolving design system, and collaborate with various teams to maintain UI/UX consistency and accessibility.Responsibilities

Lead the design and enhancement of the UI framework for ArcGIS Pro, ensuring it aligns with modern Windows desktop design patternsPartner and contribute to our desktop design system that promotes consistency, scalability, and accessibility across the applicationCollaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and other designers to ensure a seamless and cohesive user experienceConduct user research and usability testing to gather insights and validate design decisionsCreate detailed design specifications, user flows, wireframes, and high-fidelity prototypesStay updated on industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies in Windows desktop application design and accessibilityAdvocate for the user throughout the product development lifecycle, ensuring their needs and preferences are at the forefrontEnsure that all UI components and interactions meet accessibility standards and guidelinesMentor junior designers and contribute to the growth and development of the design teamRequirements

5+ years of experience in product design, with a focus on Windows desktop applicationsAn online portfolio that demonstrates your design abilities, how you think, and a strong understanding of client objectivesExperience using Figma, Figma UI Kits, adhering to established pattern libraries and required frameworksExcellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to articulate design decisions and rationale to stakeholdersExperience conducting user research and usability testing, and translating findings into actionable design improvementsIn-depth knowledge of accessibility standards and guidelines (such as WCAG, ADA) and experience implementing accessible design solutionsBachelor’s in Product Design, Interaction Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.About Esri
