Description

To manage, influence, and lead development for communications and project management for business unit program initiatives and communications with focus on HR communications which includes Talent Acquisition and event communications for our Gala/Annual Awards. Develop, implement, evaluate, and lead communications to comply with best practices to ensure timely and effective channel/program delivery and administration. To manage and facilitate implementation and coordination of multiple, large, and highly complex programs that affect and involve business unit activities. Ensure management review of initiatives from concept through planning, analysis, design, and testing, implementation, and transition phases. Create, design and manage program deliverables and solutions on schedule and within scope and budget.

Responsibilities

• Focus for the role will be in HR Communications – Talent Acquisition Communications and Gala/Annual Awards. Campaign development and execution, content development and talent branding initiatives to target and engage top talent and enhance overall employer brand awareness.

• Project manage and edit copy to ensure accuracy, proper grammar, consistent brand voice, appropriate tone, adherence to style guidelines and channel best practices are employed

• Provide guidance and feedback to team to assist in understanding and implementation of best practices and grammar rules

• Provide consultative editorial development services to clients to ensure accuracy, consistent brand voice, appropriate tone, adherence to style guidelines and channel best practices are employed

• May commission and coordinate content production by outside vendors and freelancers; edit drafts to fit business unit needs, improve readability and adherence to best practices

• Maintain a uniform editorial style to support the brand and guiding principles

• Serve as business unit consultant and liaison for internal communication projects

• Develop cohesive communication strategies for company-wide initiatives; produce effective and timely deliverables

• May manage vendor relationships, including budget analysis and planning

• Create conceptual approaches and copy solutions to increase engagement, brand recognition and meeting goals

• Provide creative solutions for campaigns, product/project launches and other initiatives

• Keep current and inform team of organizational terms, industry standards, regulator, and copyright considerations, and remain up to date on communication trends and best practices to enhance creativity and effectiveness of communications

• May be a resource for creation of campaign brief insights, key messages, value propositions, and communications strategy.

• Ensure communication content is tailored and aligned by audience and in accordance with strategic initiatives

• Champion the brand; create, contribute, implement, update, mentor, and train others on brand style guides, messaging documents, and preparedness communications

• Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or the equivalent of training, education, and experience

• Experience editing and writing communications with significant impact

• Advanced knowledge of marketing, advertising, direct response, and corporate communications principles

• Experience managing and leading multiple projects, resolving conflicting request, meeting changing requirements/priorities while meeting organizational goals

• Experience creating conceptual approaches and copy solutions for communications

• Strong oral presentations skills and ability to articulate high-level concepts into understandable language

• Experience editing using AP Style

• Experience writing for a variety of channels and ability to change tone while maintaining brand voice

• Advanced organizational, time management, project management and problem-solving skills

• Ability to work independently and as a member of a team to achieve project goals

• Advanced relationship management skills to gain confidence and cooperation of team members, clients, and outside vendors

• Experience with word processing and editorial applications software

• Desired : Advanced knowledge of all communication production processes

• Desired : Advanced knowledge of financial services industry and products
