SENIOR MEDIA TECHNICIAN College of Communication Technology

The Senior Media Technician assists in the maintenance and usage of COM technical spaces: Edit rooms, TV and film studios, video & audio recording spaces, classrooms, and other COM propriety spaces. The position aids with field equipment management including the check-out and returns of cameras, lights, recorders, and other loanable production equipment to students. The position monitors the usage of the technical spaces for safe and correct operation by all users, assists classes and individual students with applications and hardware, and provides training where needed.This is primarily an afternoon-evening M-F position with standard hours of 11am 7pm, occasionally until 9pm or later. The Senior Media Technician will need to work independently and may be the only technical operations staff member in the building at times.Required Skills
