Job Posting: Senior Systems Engineer

Summary:

As a Senior Systems Engineer at our company, you will leverage scientific and mathematical discoveries to design and develop cutting-edge wireless systems solutions. Utilizing differential equations, calculus, statistics, and physical systems approaches, you will play a critical role in creating robust, scalable systems that meet our clients' performance requirements.

Supervisory Responsibilities:

Essential Functions:

Design various radio and microwave, in-building, and wireless network systems.

Provide technical expertise to sales, service teams, and clients through in-person and remote support.

Develop Statements of Work (SOW), system optimization procedures, and Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) for proof of performance criteria.

Create system drawings using Microsoft Office Visio and/or AutoCAD.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure systems are robust, scalable, and meet performance requirements.

Define system requirements and specifications based on customer needs.

Create and maintain system architecture and design documents.

Develop and execute system integration plans and test procedures.

Provide technical support during system installation and commissioning.

Ensure systems comply with industry standards and regulations.

Troubleshoot and resolve system issues and defects.

Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior engineers.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Other Functions and Requirements:

Tasks may include but are not limited to:

5+ years of experience in system design and development.

Strong knowledge of system architecture and design principles.

Experience with developing complex systems using various technologies.

Familiarity with hardware and software integration.

Ability to develop system requirements and specifications.

Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.

Familiarity with industry standards and regulations.

Ability to mentor and provide technical leadership to junior engineers.

Education and/or Experience:

Bachelor's degree (B.A.) or equivalent from a four-year college or university specializing in RF Engineering; or four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licenses, Certifications:

Valid Driver's License; FCC General Class License preferred.
